2008 Jaguar XK 4.2 V8
Owned by Doug and Shalane Knox

Members of The Jaguar Drivers Club of Natal, South Africa, are justifiably proud of their cars. Some are brand new; others in original condition and some have been restored to their former glory, having been found as wrecks.

This page features the Jaguar XK (project code X150) and is the second generation of the Jaguar XK grand tourer from Jaguar Cars. The vehicle was unveiled in 2005 at the Frankfurt Motor Show with the first generation's 4.2 V8 engine. The XK convertible was unveiled in 2006 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. A facelifted XK was launched in 2009 with a new 5.0 L V8 engine.

The X150 design, by Ian Callum, was based on the Advanced Lightweight Coupé (ALC) which was first seen at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. The XK's grille is inspired by that of the 1961 Jaguar E-Type.
